This article has previously been deleted for the following reasons:

Because it was an article about a non-notable comany

edit

This is NOT an article about a company.

Because there was no statement in the article why it was notable

edit

These have now been added. This project is significant in that it represents the largest collaberative private investment on climate change ever to date.

This is an article about an open source collaboration. Although the pdf articles accessable through the website retain their copyright, the website itself is open source, so the contents may be freely copied.

When I wrote this article I contacted both of the directors personally who said that they welcomed a Wikipedia article on the Accord.

The article consists of reasonably sized quotes and is not all taken from the same website. (the first edition of the article was taken mainly form the executive summary, but has since been expanded)

Mike, open source is not copyleft. http://www.london-accord.co.uk/final_report/legal.htm says:

Copyright notice Copyright in these Reports is vested in their respective Authors. No part of these Reports or any of them may be reproduced without the written permission of the Authors except in accordance with the provisions of the Copyright Design and Patents Act 1988.
