MBStudios

edit

Hi there. I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article MBStudios, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Importance). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:MBStudios. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Powers 23:17, 4 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

The article was speedily deleted as a recreation of already-deleted content. Please don't create the article again. If you disagree with its deletion, please take it to Deletion Review. Powers 23:17, 4 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Content removal

Please be careful not to remove content from Wikipedia without a valid reason, which you should specify in the edit summary or on the article's talk page. Thank you. RexNL 23:10, 4 May 2007

I have a quick question. Would it be against the rules to add a wrestling E-Fed to the wiki? Mike423

What is an E-Fed? Computerjoe's talk 19:52, 12 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

A E-fed is a wrestling simulation made on a website or forum.Mike423

You may not use it if it is under an incompatible copyright, which it probably will be. Computerjoe's talk 19:58, 12 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

No. It won't be using any copyrights. All the "wreslters" and other info will not be copyrighted unless done so by me. Mike423

Okay, can I have a link so I can investigate? Computerjoe's talk 20:05, 12 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

I haven't created the fed yet. I just wanted to verifiy that I could post it on the wiki first. I could have it up soon.Mike423

I'd like to see one, in action, please. Computerjoe's talk 20:11, 12 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Mines not up yet, but this is a *[active e-fed] This fed uses copyrighted stuff but mine wont. Mike423

I have removed the {{helpme}}, Computerjoe will probably reply when he's next awake.--Commander Keane 23:05, 12 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for Image:UWE Current Logo.png

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:UWE Current Logo.png. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 17:07, 13 May 2006 (UTC)

Help!

Recently, two vandals have been disrupting one of my pages, (*[1] and threating to get me banned when I have done nothing wrong. Can someone help? Mike423 23:03, 12 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Just as a clarification, nobody own's pages. If they are just making bad faith edits, you can warn them using one of many templates available at WP:UTM, and if they continue then report them to WP:AIV. -Royalguard11(Talk·Desk·Review Me!) 23:07, 12 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

I am a new user, so stop deleteing my pages before i delete yours! I agree with all of the complaints that are up here, you had my other account deleted because you saw something you didn't like......IT WAS A VANDLE THAT DID THAT!

All of the edits I did were reasonable. Also, I did not get your account deleted. Can some one help clear this up with this member?Mike423 18:09, 15 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Tyar has been known to "stress" out like this (check out User talk:Lijnema talk page under the "Re: Nancy Linari" section.) If Tyar deletes any of your pages - let me know and he will be issued with a warning

Peace

edit

Tyar here, and peace, I am sorry I yelled at you, but I have just been fired from my job and am in a little bit of stress. Don't worry about that other unamed user "vandalising" my user page, he is just me unlogged.

I am a new user, so stop deleteing my pages before i delete yours! I agree with all of the complaints that are up here, you had my other account deleted because you saw something you didn't like......IT WAS A VANDLE THAT DID THAT!

I don't know if you know, but I DID NOT write that last paragraph seen on "Stop". So lets just make peace and get it over with, Tyar sighing out. Tyar 01:23, 16 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

First, I know it wasn't you who last posted on "Stop". Also, I don't think it was me who got your last account banned. What was the name of the account? Mike423 02:01, 16 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned fair use image (Image:UBN Banner 2.jpg)

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:UBN Banner 2.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Fritz S. (Talk) 12:02, 27 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Just a thought...
If you own the image, why don't you CC it, or GFDL it, or PD it etc. That'd make sure your image isn't deleted.

Deleted page "BetaSearch"

edit

A page you created, or image you uploaded, BetaSearch, has been deleted in accordance with our deletion policy. In particular, it meets the one or more criteria for speedy deletion; the relevant criterion is:

Unremarkable people, groups, companies and web content. An article about a real person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content that does not assert the importance or significance of its subject.

Wikipedia has certain standards for inclusion that all articles must meet. Certain types of article must establish the notability of their subject by asserting its importance or significance. Additionally, since Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, content inappropriate for an encyclopedia, or content that would be more suited to somewhere else (such as a directory or social networking website) is not acceptable. See What Wikipedia is not for the relevant policy.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable notability guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content; it will be deleted again and may be protected from re-creation. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article. If you have any questions, please contact an administrator for assistance. The Dream Weaver

edit

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article The Dream Weaver, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at its talk page. Removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, but the article may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. 172.149.159.184 16:42, 10 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
