The user page User:MichelleReidArtintheWords has been deleted, in accordance with Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, for two reasons. Firstly, it appeared to be use of Wikipedia to host a personal web page unrelated to work for the project to build the encyclopaedia. Wikipedia is not a free web host or personal web space provider or a social network site, and such a page would be more appropriate on a site of one of those kinds. Secondly, the page appeared to exist largely to promote or publicise your work. Wikipedia is not an advertising service, and Wikipedia policy is that any page, anywhere on Wikipedia, may be summarily deleted if it appears to exist largely for promotional purposes. You are, of course, welcome to contribute to the encyclopaedia on other subjects if you would like to, but if your only interest is in having a page telling the world about yourself and your work, then Wikipedia is not he right place for you.
