Image:50ALBUM.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:50ALBUM.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. E tac 09:27, 14 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned fair use image (Image:BUCKDAWORLD_copy.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading Image:BUCKDAWORLD_copy.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. 2007 edits edit

Welcome, and thank you for adding your humour to Wikipedia. However, the articles are meant to be serious, so please don't make joke edits, as you did to 50 Cent. Some readers looking for a serious article might not find them amusing. If you'd like to experiment with editing, try the sandbox, where you can write whatever you want (as long as it's not offensive). You might also want to check out Wikipedia:Bad Jokes and Other Deleted Nonsense. If it was you that made that album cover, you did a good job & even fooled me the first time. But please, don't add fake covers edited from a XXL interview. Thanks! Spellcast 02:20, 2 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add inappropriate images to Wikipedia, as you did to 50 Cent, as it's considered to be vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Your album covers look good but Wikipedia isn't the place to post it. Perhaps a hip-hop forum or art site. Thanks. Spellcast 13:07, 9 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

If that was indeed the real cover for Before I Self Destruct, don't you think the cover of such a notable album would be available on more reliable sites, rather than one Hong Kong based site? There are many sites that simply copy data from Wikipedia. The album isn't even completed. And looking at your history, you've also uploaded several fake album covers to other artists. Oh, and please don't blatantly vandalise people's userpage by blanking it out, which explains the warning below. Thanks. Spellcast 11:19, 10 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to vandalise the userpages of other users, as you did to User: Spellcast, you will be blocked. I made this a level 3/4 template because you've already received 3 previous warnings this year. Thanks. Spellcast 11:24, 10 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

By the way, if you really believe that cover is genuine and you didn't make it yourself (it seems edited from here), it's much better to discuss the issue on the article's talk page here. I added an 'Album Cover' sub-category. The last thing we all want is an edit war. Spellcast 11:40, 10 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
