Thanks for uploading File:Lsmoval.gif. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

File copyright problem with File:Lsmoval.gif edit

File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Lsmoval.gif. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. DFS454 (talk) 17:01, 13 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Image copyright problem with File:Frontoflsm.JPG edit

Thanks for uploading File:Frontoflsm.JPG. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by STBotI. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 16:43, 4 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits edit

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 21:24, 26 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Creating a page for Jay Glatfelter edit

As I said on the Raleigh, North Carolina page, I thought it'd be appropriate to move the "how to create a new article for Jay Glatfelter" thread here, to your user page. Here are some great things to read:

The gist of article creation is this- click on the redlink for Jay Glatfelter and start typing. However, I'd recommend creating a subpage on your user space first. Here's how to do that- User:Michaelkirschner/Jay Glatfelter. Now click on that redlink and you can create the page in a protected space. That lets you add content, experiment with layout, and all of that before adding it to the main Wikipedia, and it'll keep people the article from being deleted for notability before the it's ready.

Go ahead and start the userspace one, then let me know (by replying here). I'll watch it and can help you along. Sometimes it can help to create an outline for the article, place {{fact}} tags on statements you know but haven't found sources for, and fill it in as you can.

File World map Digital Television Transion edit

I Noticed you recently made a comment on Talk:Digital_television_transition Asking about the color of the US being changed From Red to yellow. [1] Apparently there has been an Edit war with this file since about June 13. People have been changing the color of the US from yellow to red over and over again.

You Should go to [2] He's the one who has been changing the color back to Yellow for the US. Be careful though, I Commented there and I don't have a user name on commons, so he removed My Comment. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Joeloliv8 (talkcontribs) 19:26, 17 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

March 2010 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Jay & Jack, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. You removed the AfD template twice now, here and here. You also accused me of vandalism for nominating the article for deletion, a clear breach of WP:AGF. I strongly recommend you acquaint yourself with Wikipedia's guidelines. Drmies (talk) 15:20, 30 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to the page Jay & Jack. Such edits constitute vandalism and are reverted. Please do not continue to make unconstructive edits to pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thank you. from hajatvrc with WikiLove @ 15:22, 30 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Jay and Jack image edit

I deleted the image because it had an improper license. The source, this Flickr page, notes that the image is available under a cc-by-nc-nd license, which isn't free for Wikipedia purposes. Images on Wikipedia must be available for commercial use (the license prohibits commercial use) and for modification (the license prohibits derivative works), so this image isn't permitted on Wikipedia. Nyttend (talk) 15:40, 30 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. Continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Jay & Jack, without resolving the problem that the template refers to may be considered vandalism. Further edits of this type may result in you being blocked from editing Wikipedia. Again you removed the AfD template and the peacock template. Drmies (talk) 19:47, 30 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

All I was doing was removing the deletion notice because I had fixed the page and did not want the page to be deleted, blocking someone for doing that is in violation of rule number 1Michael Kirschner 20:09, 30 March 2010 (UTC)

  • Sorry, but that is nonsense, and you have been told to not do this before. You had not "fixed" the page, and the article was still listed on the Articles for Deletion page. I don't know what you mean with "rule number 1"; what I do know is that you simply should not remove these templates. The other template you removed was for peacock terms, and those terms are still there--but you would benefit from a good reading of WP:Peacock. Drmies (talk) 01:34, 31 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Rule 1 ignore all rules, search for it its right here on wikipedia

  • Right. How could I be so silly. Drmies (talk) 02:02, 31 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Don't worry there's a lot of rules to keep track of, it happens to the best of us Michael Kirschner 02:09, 31 March 2010 (UTC)

This is the final warning that you are receiving regarding your disruptive edits, such as this edit you made to Sousa Cintra. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing without further notice. from hajatvrc with WikiLove @ 20:11, 30 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
