Varieties of English edit

Wikipedia does not favour one national variety of English over another. If an article is written using one variety, then, unless there are special reasons why another variety is more appropriate for that particular article, you should not change it, as you did at Immigration to Germany. You may look at Wikipedia:Manual of Style#National varieties of English if you wish to see more detail about this. I am also posting to this talk page, rather than the one it used to redirect to, because this is the account that you have recently been using, and there is a risk that messages posted to the there one might be missed if you don't log on to that account. Also, editing with one account but using the talk page of another one may well confuse other editors. JamesBWatson (talk) 19:53, 11 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

I don't think the edits I made constitute a "variety" of English, just proper English grammar. Michael V. Gold (talk) 17:08, 15 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
