Speedy deletion nomination of Rhino Force edit

Hello MichaelDubley,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Rhino Force for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

September 2020 edit

Hello, I'm Scope creep. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Hemmersbach Rhino Force have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Addition of spammy sources, press-release and non-notable youtube videos. scope_creepTalk 08:55, 7 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello MichaelDubley. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Hemmersbach Rhino Force, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:MichaelDubley. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=MichaelDubley|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. scope_creepTalk 08:58, 7 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello @Scope creep:, I am not paid or will be paid by anyone to contribute to wiki. In fact, I am only paid by welfare right now! I am not sure how to prove this to you but if there is anything you want me to provide please let me know and I would be happy to do so. Let me tell you about me! I think there is great value in the cause of anti-poaching and great horror to be found in the wildlife trade. I found this organisation Rhino Force coming across it online and have followed their work for some while. I was thinking of how I can contribute (especially now in COVID) and noticed there was no page for Rhino Force and even none for anti-poaching. I made those pages having little wiki knowledge (I have still so little!) but thought it would help the cause. If you check the Rhino Force logo photo I uploaded to wiki you can see the email discussion I had with Rhino Force to get the logo. After making these I noticed there was no page on Hemmersbach so made that too. Please let me know if you would like anything else from me to convince you of this. Happy to help! Is your problem about notability or about you suspecting me being financially motivated? I would be happy for you or someone else to write the pages as that would mean I am not involved. Perhaps that would that make you happy? Talk 02:39, 8 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
