re:Rofl edit

Did you see the big orange line across the top? Cool isn't it. I noticed you linked to a page by copying the url and putting square brackets around it. You can link to any Wikipedia page by copying the title (like for your talk page it would be "User talk:Michael097") and putting 2 square brackets around it, e.g. Halo 3 looks like: Halo 3. Also if you want to link to something but not have the link be the exact title you can go the 3rd Halo game which looks like: the 3rd Halo game. There's a lot more on the cheat sheet. Got to go now. If you have questions just ask. James086Talk | Email 09:14, 7 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Oh yeah and you might be interested in WikiProject Halo. James086Talk | Email 14:24, 7 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
There's lots of things you can try but make sure you sig is in line with the policy, big signatures are distracting and images slow the servers. the text you want up high will give you superscript, <font colour="#HEXCODE" font face="NAME OF FONT">colourful, font</font> will give you colours in a different font although I don't know how many are available (the colours are listed here). If you want to use a custom signature you go to preferences under user profile, then there should be a box for typing in with "signature" next to it. Thats where you put the code. Put what you like then click "Save" at the bottom. If you want to have links like mine (to my userpage, talk page and email) then you can tick "Raw signature" and you must put in the links. If you don't tick it the whole thing will link to your userpage. I suggest trying out you potential signature on this page and clicking "Show Preview" until it's how you want it, then copy it into the box. Also I'm willing to gamble that the first time you try saving your signature it won't let you because it's invalid. It means the code is nasty and it will affect other things on the page that you sign (it's not good to make everybody's comments yellow). You need to "close" all tags (like must have later or it will superscript the rest of the page. Here's the code of my signature:
 • <font face="comic sans ms" color="#454545">User:James086</font><font color="#006400">Talk</font> | <font color="#700000">Email</font>.

Yep, when you are linking to the page you are on it makes it appear bold. Have fun editing. James086Talk | Email 12:21, 8 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
