This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. Welcome edit

Greetings Mr Raines:

Welcome, and thanks for your contribution to wikipedia and to the art of electric vehicle construction.

I rewrote your addition to electric vehicle conversion in order to prevent its reversion by others. The original text might be considered by many to be too self-promoting in tone to fit the generaly recognized Wikipedia style. I moved the link to your site to the external links section, as I found your web page suitable for inclusion there.

I have (mostly) prepared a wikibook on electric vehicle conversion. Perhaps you would be interested in creating a similar book on constructing an electric motorcycle? I would be glad to provide any assistance you would need in this effort.

"Boilerplate" welcome is below.

Best wishes, Leonard G. 04:10, 16 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Welcome!

Hello, Michael(HOLLYWOOD) raines, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on your talk page. Again, welcome!

Please learn about the external link guidelines WP:EL and "conflict of interest" guidelines WP:COI edit

I've noticed that you've added several links to your personal website. Such edits are considered a "conflict of interest" - WP:COI and are strongly discouraged. Adding the same url (especially in a way that makes it difficult to distinguish it from references WP:CITE as opposed to external links WP:EL) is often viewed as a form of spam (WP:SPAM), even when editors add it with good intentions. Please keep in mind, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for promotion or a directory of external links - see WP:NOT. You are invited to add constructively to articles and it is clear that you are very knowledgeable in your field. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.
