Back-building thunderstorm

I see the welcoming committee seem to have missed you. So let me do it - Welcome to Wikipedia!

I saw that you merged Back-building thunderstorm in to Thunderstorm. That's good, but I don't know if you know this, but when you merge articles you should replace the content of the old one with a redirect to the new place the material is going. Here is what I did to the old article. Also, you are supposed to put a link to the old article in the edit summary of the new article (it's something to do with Wikipedia's copyright rules). Here's what I did to the new article - note the edit summary. Anyway, that's all just for next time, I have fixed it all now.

Nice work on finding that ref by the way!, but you should have put that in the thunderstorm article too.

If you ever want some help on anything, you can leave a note on my talk page. I might not be around sometimes, but I will always answer eventually. SpinningSpark 20:22, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

User boxes and administrators

The Wikipedia userbox page is here. This will tell you how to make userboxes and at the bottom of the page you will find links to lists of ones already made. The ones to tell where you are from are here. Also, if you see one you like on someone elses page, you are allowed to copy them to your own page. But if it is a userbox the person has made themself, it would be polite to tell them you are using it as well.

There is no rule about the number of edits you should have before you become an administrator, but usually it would be expected that you have around 2000 main article space edits. However, being an administrator is not about the number of edits you have. That is just one of several indications that show you might have the necessary experience. You also need to have a good understanding of the Wikipedia policies and guidelines, have a clear idea of what administrative tasks you are going to undertake (and be willing to spend time on them) and, most importantly, you need to be good at dealing with people. You also need to be prepared for the rather harsh questioning you will get by other administrators when you are nominated. RfAs (Requests for Adminship) often end in tears. Back-building thunderstorm

It was removed as it has been merged into the same article the See also is for items that relate to the article {Thunderstorm} that haven't been included at article. Check out WP:SEEALSO which explains it better. Bidgee (talk) 22:40, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

Henrickson's Home Plus

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Henrickson's Home Plus, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Nothing444 15:04, 19 April 2008 (UTC)

YFZ compound vs. ranch

First of all, let me say that I'm also a huge fan of The Office. Secondly, I wasn't aware there was a guard tower and guards with guns. If that is true, I guess it would fit the definition, but I haven't seen a cited source saying as much. Do you have a source for that? --TrustTruth (talk) 03:46, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
