I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Roger Heusser

edit

I replaced the article text in Roger heusser by a #REDIRECT [[Roger Heusser]] so it now redirects to Roger Heusser. In the future, if you create an article and get the capitalization of the title wrong, just ask somebody to move it instead of creating a duplicate article (you will be able to do so yourself once you have a sufficient number of edits). Happy editing, Kusma (talk) 15:49, 24 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

Lightning Talk

edit

I've reverted your edits to Lightning Talk, it's not obvious why Mathew Heusser giving and organising Talks several years after they started is important, sorry - SimonLyall 11:26, 3 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of "Julie Hanna Farris"

edit

A page you created, Julie Hanna Farris, has been tagged for deletion in accordance with our deletion policy. In particular, it meets one or more criteria for speedy deletion; the relevant criterion is:

No indication of importance/significance. An article about a real person, group of people, band, club, company, organisation, or web content that does not indicate why its subject is important or significant.

Wikipedia has certain standards for inclusion that all articles must meet. Certain types of article must establish the notability of their subject by asserting its importance or significance. Additionally, since Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, content inappropriate for an encyclopedia, or content that would be more suited to somewhere else (such as a directory or social networking website) is not acceptable. See What Wikipedia is not for the relevant policy.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

If you have any questions, please contact an administrator for assistance. Thank you Tuvok[T@lk/Improve] 14:26, 16 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

March 2011

edit

Please refrain from writing autobiographical articles, as you did at Matthew Heusser‎. Creating an article about yourself is strongly discouraged; if you create such an article, it may be deleted. All edits to articles must conform to our policies on no original research, neutral point of view, and avoid conflicts of interest. Please remember that Wikipedia is an online encyclopedia, not a personal webspace provider. If your achievements are verifiable and genuinely notable, and thus suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later. (See Wikipedians with articles.) Thank you. Shire Reeve (talk) 16:18, 22 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Roger Heusser is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Roger Heusser until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on good quality evidence, and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. -- Rrburke (talk) 16:54, 22 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Adding sources to Roger Heusser

edit

Naturally you're encouraged continue adding sources in order to help demonstrate the subject's notability and reduce the chances that the article will be deleted. Please see Wikipedia:Notability and Wikipedia:Notability (people) to better understand what criteria are used to evaluate notability, and Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources to see what kinds of sources are preferred. -- Rrburke (talk) 18:50, 22 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
