Signatures are only for signing your comments on talk pages that accompany each article and the talk pages of any users or WikiProjects you might want to get involved with. Hi, and although someone else has already said it, welcome to wikipedia! In articles there's no need to add four tildes (ie: ~~~~) as this leaves your signature in the article. You only need to sign on talk pages so people can tell who said what. I hope you enjoy editing wikipedia and if you've got any questions feels free to drop by my talk page.
