Notability of Scarletto edit

A tag has been placed on Scarletto, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you feel that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Darkspots 02:17, 29 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Welcome edit

Welcome!

Hello, Meviin, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} after the question on your talk page. Again, welcome!

You seem like someone who could easily become a serious contributor, so I wanted to invite you to stick around. Also, if you want, you can move the Scarletto material to user space and work on the article--if the right secondary source comes along, which it often does with someone seeking the limelight, you can add that and repost the article. I'm happy to help--contact me on my talk page if you're interested. Darkspots 13:46, 29 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Milk edit

Hello,

Although your contributions are appreciated, the recent edits you've made to the milk article are not productive, not supported by appropriate citation, and included indiscriminate removal of well supported statements. I would recommend that you read over the discussion page for milk where all of the materials you've added (or removed ) have been discussed in detail on numerous occasions. If you would like to present a case with strong evidence on that page, please do so. Cheers Halogenated (talk) 03:06, 23 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

xkcd edit

Hey there, thanks for noticing the link on xkcd was no longer working. However, I've reverted your change and replaced the link with a general page which includes the article. In the future, please do not use Google cache pages on Wikipedia, as they do not last but for a week or so before expiring. Even if a link no long works, the link should remain (if it cannot be fixed) since it may be possible in the future to find it on an archive site like archive.org or webcitation.org. Cheers! Orphaned non-free image File:InfluxDB logo.svg edit

Thanks for uploading File:InfluxDB logo.svg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:57, 11 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
