  • (edit conflict) I'll add @Ian (Wiki Ed) and Helaine (Wiki Ed). Metikatic, you have to start communicating with other editors; repeatedly reinstating contested content is particularly problematic. And while the copyrighted content that that ToBeFree is referring to is compatibly licensed, it is not appropriate for an encyclopaedia in an unmodified form, and the license in question (CC BY 4.0) also requires that you clearly attribute where the content is from. --Blablubbs (talk) 19:43, 28 April 2022 (UTC)

Thank you for your contributions. It seems that you may have added public domain content to one or more Wikipedia articles, such as Coral bleaching. You are welcome to import appropriate public domain content to articles, but in order to meet the Wikipedia guideline on plagiarism, such content must be fully attributed. This requires not only acknowledging the source, but acknowledging that the source is copied. we are all new to using wiki for our class assignment and we have an assignment due and we need it to be unblocked and restore our sandbox. Thank you for understanding from now on we will follow the guidelines after this mistake Metikatic (talk) 21:29, 28 April 2022 (UTC)

 You were given more than enough warnings that your editing was unacceptable, uncluding twice being warned that continuing to act in the same way would lead to being blocked from editing. You chose to ignore those warnings. Your unblock request makes no attempt to address the reasons for the block. You use the word "mistake", but you knew what you were doing. Moreover, the one place where you have tried to describe the reason for the block, namely the paragraph beginning "All this mishap..." , far from showing that you understand the reasons for the block and will not do the same again, unequivocally shows that you don't understand the reason. All that is not going to be set aside in order to help you achieve an aim of your own, unrelated to benefitting the encyclopaedia.   All this mishap was due to the problem of us trying to post our sandbox into our main space and we were just trying to copy and past that into the main article, which introduced the problem. We didn't know how to do that and after talking to our instructor we were told to do copy and paste since one of our other classmate tried that and it worked to get it on the main space.   Metikatic, the sandbox was deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, so your editing in the main article was merely part of a larger problem that is not being addressed in your current request. That aside, though, the editing in the main article was highly chaotic, as you may notice when having a look at the revision history of the page. Other editors have attempted to contact you about their concerns, but their messages remained unanswered without a change in the criticized behavior. And even that aside, your plagiarism is unaddressed by the request. The main argument you currently provide for unblocking is your assignment being due, which is a personal problem instead of a credible demonstration of understanding of the actual problems. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 22:05, 28 April 2022 (UTC)

I meant we because we are working in group and that person has also been denied access to the sandbox draft. We were also told by our instructor to add the changes we made to our draft and add it to the talk page. We have gone through our material to edit out an anything that is not appropriate and anything that might have copyright infringements. We have condensed the Potential Solution: Artificial upwelling (AU) text, taken out anything that was unnecessary from the images we used which is found in the context section and the infectious disease section paragraph, as well.
