Position by round

edit

Re: [1] I'm just using the actual positions in the respective tables after all games have been played that day (or that weekend). This is what I've done for the same table in the 2009 and 2010 articles. I'm able to go back and determin what position they were in after each game by reviewing the history of the shared templates. To be honest, I'm pretty sure that these are the numbers readers think they're getting with this table. The league standings published on mlssoccer.com are based on actual results and not points-per-match, so I think actual position numbers are more in line with that form of reporting. However, if you insist on doing it your way (which I don't think readers are expecting), go right ahead. I have neither the time nor the energy to argue my points further. --SkotyWATC 04:08, 25 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Re: [2] Interesting. I can see where you're coming from on this. I still don't think this is what readers will expect when looking at the table in the team season article, but I'm not going to argue. You're welcome to maintain it as you see fit. --SkotyWATC 04:35, 25 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
