Draft Page Under New User

edit

Evening,

I created a new draft page under a new user page name. How long before my page is reviewed and edited? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Meredith LeJeune at Thought Bubble (talkcontribs) 21:01, March 19, 2021 (UTC)

Please sign your talk page posts. Use ~~~~ to add a signature and timestamp,
You have not submitted your draft. It will not be reviewed until you do so. Once you submit it, it will be out on a list where it will remain until a reviewer chooses to look at it. I don't know what the current back log is, but it's likely months. I would suggest that you improve the article rather than submitting it as is, since it is very unlikely to pass. Managing a conflict of interest

edit

  Hello, Meredith LeJeune at Thought Bubble Communication. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Meters (talk) 20:45, 29 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Your new user name does not eliminate the conflict of interest concerns. Since you work for for a public relations firm that specializes in "influencer relations and social media" https://www.thoughtbubblecommunications.com/ you appear to be a paid editor, and per WP:UPE are required to declare who is paying you, who the client is, and any other relevant role or relationship.
The problems with your article (and there are several) can be dealt with once you have done so. Meters (talk) 20:48, 29 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

COI

Thank you for this. I do work for a PR firm, how can I edit my relationship to the topic? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Meredith LeJeune at Thought Bubble Communication (talkcontribs) 21:38, March 29, 2021 (UTC)

Again, please sign your talk page posts.
Please read the links that have been provided to you. WP:COI tells you everything you need to know. In particular see WP:PAY and WP:COIPAYDISCLOSE. Meters (talk) 21:48, 29 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
