Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

References in an article

edit

I see you're fairly new to Wikipedia, and I noticed your comment on the DYK template for Oil and gas industry in Burma, about not knowing how to fix the bare urls. Creating articles in general, there is a handy feature on the Enhanced Editing Toolbar at the top of the edit window. At the top of your Wikipedia page should be an option for Preferences. Click on it, then do this:

  • Click/select Editing option in Preferences
  • Click/select Enable enhanced editing toolbar
  • Save, and open an editing window on any article
  • Click on the "Cite" option on the toolbar
  • Click on Template drop down box on the left side
  • Click on any cite choice that comes up under the arrow.
  • A pop up box appears with fill-in-the-blanks to insert properly formatted references.

Maybe you already knew about that. But if not, thought I'd mention it. Happy editing. — Maile (talk) 00:10, 19 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
