Rollback granted

edit

Hi محمد عصام. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! TonyBallioni (talk) 05:17, 17 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

I also gave you pending changes reviewer since it is also helpful for anti-vandal work and if you're competent enough for rollback here, you're competent enough for pending changes, which we hand out much more liberally. If you don't want it, let me know and I'll remove it. TonyBallioni (talk) 05:22, 17 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
@TonyBallioni: we have "Editor" access on ar.wiki which includes "pending changes reviewer" and "new page reviewer", but as I'm only interested in Anti-vandalism work here, pending changes reviewer is all I need, thank you!   MohamedTalk 05:28, 17 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
Not a problem. Always happy to have more ar.wiki editors helping out here. There's a fair amount of xwiki vandalism/promo and the like between en.wiki and ar.wiki, so its very helpful to have people who can speak the language   TonyBallioni (talk) 05:29, 17 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Emre Can, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Mattythewhite (talk) 22:38, 19 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi @Mattythewhite: I thought it was clear enough, here's one source for example: ([1]). I'll add it to the article now anyway, thanks. MohamedTalk 00:14, 20 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Cheikh Anta Diop, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Revisionism (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 12:15, 11 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Reverts without allow time for review and discussion

edit

The Table of Nations (Book of gates) pic change was posted to the Talk page of the Ancient Egyptian Race Controversy article. You reverted this good faith edit (pic change) without leaving time for other editors to review the edit and comment. There is a lengthy explanation of the pic change on the Talk page.

Similarly, I posted to the Talk page when adding a King Tut tomb pic that looks to the text. You need to allow time for comment before changing a pic that was literally just added to the article.

I encourage you to review the following:

Hello, Memelordo.

Kindly please see the history page here [2].

https://www.albayan.ae/five-senses/culture/2018-04-16-1.3238874

Your signature

edit

Please be aware that your signature is causing Tidy bug affecting font tags wrapping links lint errors (now known as Old behaviour of link-wrapping font tags) and also uses deprecated <font> tags, which are causing Obsolete HTML tagsa lint errors. The behavior of the Tidy bug has changed; starting in June 2018 the font color effect was removed.

Additionally, your signature appears to go against WP:SIGAPP, which says to avoid markup that enlarges text.
