DisambigProject

edit

Could you change {{DisambigProject}} to :

{{WPBannerMeta
|PROJECT             = Disambiguation
 |BANNER_NAME        = {{subst:FULLPAGENAME}}
 |small  = {{{small|}}}
 |nested = {{{nested|}}}
 |category={{{category|μ}}}
|IMAGE_LEFT          = Disambig.svg
|IMAGE_LEFT_LARGE    = 70px
|MAIN_TEXT = This {{#switch:{{NAMESPACE}}|Wikipedia talk=project page|Image talk=image|Template talk=template|Help talk=help page|Category talk=category|#default=article}} is within the scope of WikiProject Disambiguation, an attempt to structure and organize all [[Wikipedia:Disambiguation|disambiguation]] pages on Wikipedia. If you would like to participate, please visit the project page, where you can join the project and see a list of open tasks.

WikiProject Opera

edit

Could you add the template & portal lines into {{WikiProject Opera}} (near the bottom of the template):

 |category
 |cat
 |disambig
 |disambiguation
 |dab
 |template
 |portal
 |na = [[Category:Non-article Opera pages|{{PAGENAME}}]]

EurovisionNotice

edit

I was going to do the {{EurovisionNotice}} banner but some of the categories end in articles and some end in pages. See Category:Eurovision articles by quality. So what do I need to do in those cases? -- WOSlinker (talk) 19:47, 27 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

One method I've thought of which could work is to have another option which stops any class or importance categories been set by WPBannerMeta and just leaving that part of the code directly in the banner template. e.g. |QUALITY_CATEGORIES = no and |IMPORTANCE_CATEGORIES = no -- WOSlinker (talk) 07:15, 30 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
This is one area where I've been simply knocking through the old standards and creating the new categories in the appropriate locations. It's got me into the occasional spot of bother in the past, but in general, as long as you update all the links and template calls, very few people give a damn, and even those that do usually realise the benefits. I've been deleting the categories as soon as the new ones are created; you'd have to list them for CSD yourself (I'm in an airport lounge at the moment, so I don't fancy logging on as a sysop, I'm afraid! :D).
