I just wanted to sincerely thank you for your work on Portal:History. I went back and looked closer at the history and saw what you were talking about. Had you not noticed and stepped in, there is no telling how long that article would've been featured (well, probably December 2010, since that's what they had it laid out to). I'd bet that once September gets here, they go back to reverting to feature the Joseph Smith, Jr. article again (I'm with you, nothing against Mormonism, but it's this month's featured article, not this year's featured article). If they do that, then there are methods of stopping it, such as semi-protection to stop the IPs or WP:ANI to report for blocks to stop auto-confirmed users.

Again, thank you very much for noticing it and doing something about it. If you ever need help editing, feel free to ask me or any other of the editors here (there are some POV pushers and whatnot, but, overall, most of the editors here are friendly and helpful). Cheers and happy editing! Apparition11 Complaints/Mistakes 21:30, 21 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

No problem, it's my pleasure. You did reply correctly. People do it different ways on user talk pages. Some reply on the page with the original post, like in this instance, you could've replied here to my original post. Others reply on the talk page of the person who posted it, like you did posting on mine. It's really just a matter of preference, either one is perfectly fine. Cheers!
