You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Salwa Judum. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing.   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 13:13, 11 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi jeff, today all day along there has been vandalising attempts on the following 3 wiki pages, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naxalite http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Communist_Party_of_India_(Maoist) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salwa_Judum

The users "Barakabless", "Agarbatti", "Vinter-light" have following the same patter of deleting large chunks of text and references. This leads me to suspect that they are the same person.

I need help to stop these vandalising attempt. Please tell me how can to stop such these users from such attempt. --Mehrrunissa (talk) 09:14, 12 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

October 2009 edit

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to the page Salwa Judum. Such edits constitute vandalism and are reverted. Please do not continue to make unconstructive edits to pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thank you.   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 13:18, 11 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits edit

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 14:06, 11 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

File source problem with File:DRDO Daksh ROV.jpg edit

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:DRDO Daksh ROV.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 12:09, 12 October 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. —SpaceFlight89 12:09, 12 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

File:Kobad Ghandy.jpg edit

If you first attribute a photo to someone else and then say that you created it yourself, it's obvious you aren't telling the truth. Please stop doing that.Prezbo (talk) 20:18, 12 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

This is unfair treatment against me.The sock puppets of vinter-light are Barakabless, Agarbatti. The discussion on their vandalism can be found in link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Salwa_Judum They were going around deleting large chunk of text and references of other users. I just reverted the edits made by their sockpuppets. And the claim of 10 million people being cannibalized was made by user Modulispace. His edit can seen in the link. http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title1=Communist_Party_of_India_(Maoist)&diff1=next&oldid=319565386 While reverting the vandalism of barakabless, this claim was unknowingly added to that. It was not my intention to make such a claim. I request that my userid should be unblocked and i be allowed to continue to make contributions. You can check the talk page of salwa judum were the sock puppets of vinter-light failed to show up for fear of being exposed. I request that vinter-light, barakabless, agarbathi should be investigated for vandalism.

Decline reason:

Are you suggesting that you have no relationship to user Gaycharu (talk · contribs), 134.96.30.139 (talk · contribs), 59.92.247.62 (talk · contribs), 59.92.249.215 (talk · contribs), 59.92.246.231 (talk · contribs) or 59.92.240.37 (talk · contribs), who were making identical edits with identical edit summaries as your own? Are you suggesting that it is a mere coincidence that your account returned to the edit wars yesterday only after the semi-protection of the articles in question prevented the accounts I've listed from participating themselves? Someguy1221 (talk) 05:49, 15 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please check my contributions before suggesting i'm some kind of vandal. I attempted to revert changes made by vinter-light 's sockpuppets by asking permission from Jeff. The date and time are listed on both the pages, please check that. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Jeff_G. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Salwa_Judum

Only after that i reverted edits made by sockpuppets barakabless,Tanikasingh, Agarbatti. Please check the following user pages which have been banned for sockpuppetry.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Barakabless http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Tanikasingh http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Agarbatti

And the now the person instigating and complaining against me and keysvolume is also suspected of being a sock puppet of barakabless. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Oftenhurry "An editor has expressed a concern that this account may be a sock puppet of Barakabless."

I again reiterate i just reverted the pages to stop the vandalism done by the sockpuppets after asking permission. the 48 hour ban on me for trying to protect the pages is unfair, please remove it. thanks.

Why is this guy being blocked for fixing articles from becoming Maoist POVfests, while the Maoist sock-master User:Oftenhurry rampages on unchecked?Keysvolume (talk) 15:57, 15 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Mehrrunissa, I recommend that you return after your block has expired, refrain from being too aggressive in your edits, and fixing the egregious POV in all Naxalite related articles.Keysvolume (talk) 18:13, 15 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
