Managing a conflict of interest edit

  Hello, Mehekshaikh. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted.

As you are trying to create an article about your client, you must comply with WP:PAID, as you have already been informed. Please do so before making any more edits to any Wikipedia pages. bonadea contributions talk 15:39, 3 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Bonadea: Thank you so much for your advice. I am new on Wikipedia. Thanks for letting me know about the request edit tab. I am manager of Rohit KaduDeshmukh. Actually Rohit sir is an actor. There were many mis creations of article about Rohit sir on Wikipedia and few wrong n defamatory information was being posted. This was told to us by one of his fan. Hence I as the concerned person came here so that something wrong and false isn't posted. I have created a draft Draft:Rohit KaduDeshmukh and submitted it for review. Can you pls tell me how I can add request tag to it? Means how is that procedure? We have many references and citations. So Pls Can you help us with the same? We want to go with the wikipedia's procedure. So We request your assistance. Mehekshaikh (talk) 16:06, 3 March 2018 (UTC)MehekshaikhReply
The "request edit" template is to request edits to existing articles about a subject, not for asking for reviews of drafts. What you need to do to comply with WP:PAID is make the required declaration on your user page, as explained on the linked page.
As for your draft, you have already requested a review and there is nothing you can do to speed up the procedure. I'm afraid that the article would not be approved if it were reviewed today, however. None of the references provided meets Wikipedia's requirement for reliable independent sources, and there is nothing in the article that indicates that the person meets the requirements for notability for actors. The reason the article has been deleted before had nothing to do with wrong or defamatory content, but with the article being repeatedly recreated despite the fact that the person is not an eligible subject for the article, and because the article was created by an account that was created in violation of Wikipedia's policy. Unless you are able to add content and sources to the draft to show that the actor is notable, the best thing you can do is forget entirely about Wikipedia as far as your client is concerned. If and when he becomes notable somebody who is not connected to him will probably create an article about him, which is the way it is supposed to work. @Bonadea: I had informed the user about this before the draft was created. special:diff/828553196. —usernamekiran(talk) 17:22, 3 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Bonadea: And :@Usernamekiran: thanks for helping, but I guess I won't be able to make it due to lack of knowledge. Anyways, I have deleted the draft. Thanks both once again for helping. The article will get created when it has too.. few admins on Wikipedia are too rude to directly block. Can't take all this torture. Bye! Mehekshaikh (talk) 17:45, 3 March 2018 (UTC)MehekshaikhReply
