Your reverting me adding George Knight Jnr as her stepson, yet George Knight is listed as the stepfather to her children (Steven, Peter, Lucy and Cindy), and he also has them listed as his own stepchildren. So what is the issue? Walfordwood484 (talk) 10:25, 27 June 2023 (UTC)

@Walfordwood484: They should also be removed from each other's infoboxes - I'll have a look. The issue is WP:RPSOAPS, which states: "Relations need only be noted if the relationship holds some notable significance for the character in question". So in short, only immediate family and people that have interacted are included, to save the infobox from becoming drastically long. If I might ask, why is no emphasis being placed on the fact that the other editor is not using the talk page of the article? I am reverting the page back to what has been decided over discussions. Is it possible if you have the time, that you could create Wikipedia pages for EastEnders characters such as Keanu Taylor, Suki Panesar, Zack Hudson, Eve Unwin, and Ravi Gulati, as these have been some of the biggest characters of the show in the last five years, and pages are lacking for characters introduced in the 2010s and 2020s. Hey, I'm not Meena but he is currently extremely busy with other articles so I thought I'd reply. Articles get nominated for deletion after being reviewed all the time – it is very common and not personal. I strongly recommend going on the discussion page for the deletion and write about why you think it should not be deleted and to look at the concerns for the page (which are mainly that the sourcing needs improving and that the article sounds too promotional – or at least that's what I have gathered) and try to improve them in order to keep the article from being deleted. List of former Emmerdale characters

Hey, Meena. Not sure how to answer. The list does not show exact day in each year that the character last appeared, so it does not hit any but the most minutely knowledgeable fan, versus all others who read the list. Also, the section headings only offer to tell readers who left during a particular year. However, if the list within each year is in a proven reverse order (does every character have a wiki article, with date of last episode?), I guess a go-getter young editor could take a run at changing all orders in all 48 individual tables. At the very least, that editor might want to do WP:SALORDER on the three tables of the 2020s? Had this one on my to do list for a few months before jumping in to do yesterday's adjustments. On the assumption that all entries in all 48 tables are, indeed, reverse-correct by exact departure date, I would be willing to swing back from time to time and tackle an unadjusted year, or even a decade, but will be tapping out for the moment. Regarding the Suki article and the Beales, Suki and Kheerat had a feud with Ian in December 2020 over a council election - hence why Suki and Kheerat were suspects for his attack. Categories in Alphabetical Order

Hi, thanks for flagging up the alphabetical order of categories, I had a double check and according to MOS:CATORDER apart from eponymous categories, there is no particular order that categories need to be in, only that alphabetical sorting may sometimes be helpful, which is something I will keep in mind for the future. I am reaching out in regards to the wWiki entry from teh sinegr Mabel. Someone keeps reverting her background from "English-Swedish" to "English" siting "no proof of citizenship". I just included this link from The Guarding about Swedish RnB and souls singers. https://www.theguardian.com/music/2015/dec/01/scandipop-mabel-zhala-seinabo-sey In fact no article linked states her citizenhip as eitehr Swedish nor English, but having a Swedish mother, English father and spent ages 8-18 (ten years) in Swedena nd teh Swedish schol system, I fail to see how she shoudl only be listed as "English". Backlog update: The October drive reduced the article backlog from 11,626 to 7,609 and the redirect backlog from 16,985 to 6,431! Congratulations to Schminnte, who led with over 2,300 points.

Following that, New Page Patrol organized another backlog drive for articles in January 2024. The January drive started with 13,650 articles and reduced the backlog to 7,430 articles. Congratulations to JTtheOG, who achieved first place with 1,340 points in this drive.

Looking at the graph, it seems like backlog drives are one of the only things keeping the backlog under control. Another backlog drive is being planned for May. Feel free to participate in the May backlog drive planning discussion.

It's worth noting that both queues are gradually increasing again and are nearing 14,034 articles and 22,540 redirects. We encourage you to keep contributing, even if it's just a single patrol per day. Your support is greatly appreciated!

WMF work on PageTriage: The WMF Moderator Tools team and volunteer software developers deployed the rewritten NewPagesFeed in October, and then gave the NewPagesFeed a slight visual facelift in November. This concludes most major work to Special:NewPagesFeed, and most major work by the WMF Moderator Tools team, who wrapped up their major work on PageTriage in October. The WMF Moderator Tools team and volunteer software developers will continue small work on PageTriage as time permits.

Recruitment: A couple of the coordinators have been inviting editors to become reviewers, via mass-messages to their talk pages. If you know someone who you'd think would make a good reviewer, then a personal invitation to them would be great.
