Request reason:
I used the mediarena login so that it was clear who I was and was not hiding my connection with the pages I wanted to edit. This would allow people reading any material I submitted to judge it. I am not saying that I would intentionally submit biased content but it is hard to be completely unbiased. It was for the sake of honesty that I created this login. I added the Mediarena Research Centre page because it has been in place for over 12 months and factual information about it is of value. If you search for "university research centre" in wikipedia you get 19,048 hits such as ... Monash_University_Accident_Research_Centre Anna_University_K_B_Chandrashekar_Research_Centre Can you please explain why the Mediarena Research Centre is not acceptable? It is a verifiable centre see http://www.waikato.ac.nz/research/units/mediarena.shtml. Could you please reinstate the Mediarena login and the Mediarena page. Thank you

I can see that having a username the same as a page to be edited is not a good idea. I am happy to leave that sort of editing to other people. It still makes sense to me that using the mediarena username is more transparent than using a name that might hide the origin of the person making edits. Thanks for your comments. If possible I would still like to use that username, but if not, I understand the issues
Decline reason:
