Speedy deletion nomination of Anglo arabic senior secondary school

A tag has been placed on Anglo arabic senior secondary school requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. • Hello, Md.abdullahali. You asked me on my talk page for advice on how to write an article about Anglo arabic senior secondary school, so I am giving you some comments which I hope will be helpful to you.
• The welcome message I have given above contains useful links to further information. Unfortunately there are far too many guidelines and other documents there to expect you to read and learn everything in all of them before you start, but I suggest at least having a look at "Your first article". Other pages which may be helpful to get you started are the Article wizard, and the Tutorial. In the "Policies and guidelines" section of the Welcome message, the guideline on Reliable sources is very important, and you should at least have a quick look at it.
• There were two problems with the article you wrote. Firstly, it was a copy of a page published elsewhere on the internet, which means it was pretty certainly a copyright infringement. Secondly, it was written as though its intention was to promote the school. As you will see, in the copyright notice above there is a link to instructions on "Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted material", which can be used if you have permission from the copyright owner. However, my advice is to ignore that link. My experience is that donating copyright material in that way is almost always a waste of time. Material copied from the website of a business, school, club, or other organisation is almost always written in promotional terms, and so is deleted anyway, even if copyright permission has been given. It is much better to right your own account from scratch, and not even think of copying from the school's website or anywhere else. The article you created contained such wording as "Age has not been able to wither the alma mater ..." and "The elegant building", which are the sorts of things that are written by marketing people trying to persuade us that the school is good, not the sort of things written by impartial outsiders simply trying to inform us about the school, without any desire to impress us or persuade us to a particular view of the school. Wikipedia articles should be written from a neutral point of view.
• Before you spend any time or effort on anything else, you should be aware that Wikipedia's conflict of interest guideline strongly discourages you from writing an article on a subject with which you have a close personal involvement. Even if a person genuinely intends to write from an objective, neutral, point of view, it can be very difficult for someone closely involved in a subject to stand back and see how their writing would look to an uninvolved outsider, so a non-neutral point of view tends to creep in. You are therefore very probably not the right person to write on this subject.
• Finally, over the years on which I have been working on Wikipedia I have found that editors who come here and immediately write an article very often have very bad experiences. Their first efforts, like yours, are rejected, so they try again. Very often their second effort is rejected again. In the worst cases before long they leave Wikipedia frustrated and disappointed, having wasted a good deal of time and achieved little or nothing. In the better cases the person in question eventually learns how to edit Wikipedia successfully, but only after having gone through a good deal of frustration before getting there. I am not, of course, saying that this is always the way, but unfortunately it frequently is for those who come here and start out by writing an article on a subject which they are interested in. Other editors start by just making a few small edits to existing articles, and gradually work their way towards writing whole articles as they learn more about how Wikipedia works. People who approach Wikipedia like that invariably make mistakes and have some of their edits reverted, but since they are only minor edits not so much is lost. In my experience Wikipedians who take this approach have a very much better chance of a successful and rewarding time here, so my advice to newcomers is always to go softly at first.
