Request reason:

I'm simply trying to update our company page with information. Kindly unblock and I will not edit the page directly. Future edits will be requested through the talk page

Accept reason:

Per accepting the unblock conditions below. TonyBallioni (talk) 16:08, 8 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

If you have any connection (WP:COI) to this company, you need to disclose it, as well as review our policies on paid editing (see WP:PSCOI, WP:PAID). GABgab 23:01, 7 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Understood. Upon re-writing, I will be sure to read and abide by the disclosure policy. I wasn't required to do this in the past, which is part of my confusion. On this topic, is there someone who can review prior to sending the new copy live? I want to avoid any issues upon my next round of edits. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mcumello (talkcontribs) 23:08, 7 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

The issue is that you should not be editing the article directly at all. The content which you were uploading was copyrighted content that was promotional in nature. Our COI guideline highly encourages paid editors (of which you are since you are an employee doing this as a part of their job) to only make requests for edits on the talk page. Any unblock would have as a condition you agreeing never to edit the page directly. TonyBallioni (talk) 23:11, 7 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

You say you were not obliged to abide by the disclosure policy "in the past" but this account has been editing for only a few hours. Does that mean you have previously edited with another account?Breaking sticks (talk) 23:19, 7 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Completely understand. Kindly unblock and I will not edit the page directly. Future edits will be requested through the talk page. Again, my apologies. Not trying to be difficult. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mcumello (talkcontribs) 23:23, 7 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Okay. I'm willing to unblock you on the following conditions:
  1. You agree not to directly edit any page you have been paid to edit, and only make edit requests on the relevant talk page.
  2. You must immediately following the unblock disclose your paid status and employer per WP:PAID. You may do this by using {{paid|employer=ACME|article=Example}} or by using one of the other template formats at Template:Paid. This should be posted on your user page.
  3. You agree to write anything you post on any page of Wikipedia in your own words, and will not upload any copyrighted content, text or media, to Wikipedia in the future. You can do this by drafting your suggested edits offline in a word processor before hand.
If you agree to the above terms, let me know, and I will unblock you. TonyBallioni (talk) 01:21, 8 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
