Some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article John McGarrigle may not be sufficiently well-known to merit articles of their own. The Wikipedia community welcomes newcomers, and encourages them to become Wikipedians. On Wikipedia, each user is entitled to a user page in which they can describe themselves, and this article's content may be incorporated into that page. However, to merit inclusion in the encyclopedia proper, a subject must be notable. We encourage you to write or improve articles on notable subjects. I've moved the contents of John McGarrigle to your user page. android79 13:42, 27 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Re:Serial Killer List

edit

Mcgarrigle, in response to your question on my discussion page as to whether someone should have a Wikipedia article before being included on pages that are lists or compendiums of notable people; Generally, people should have an article before being added to lists. It helps to confirm that they should indeed be included on the list, as well as not making a bulky list any larger by having "red" or empty links that lead to nowhere. Since you are working on an article for Stano, then I would maybe suggest finishing the article before his inclusion, otherwise someone else might come along and delete the name from the list of List of serial killers by country. Good luck! ExRat 03:56, 8 March 2006 (UTC)Reply
