ARCHIVING REFERENCES edit

It is important to keep references up to date; however, as is often the case with web references, the links may die. When adding a web reference, please also archive it at http://www.webcitation.org/archive so that, even if the link dies, the page will be archived for later reference. If you discover that a link has died, please check to see if there is a record of the page archived at http://www.webcitation.org/query or at http://archive.org/web/web.php.

Accidental user page edit edit

Hi Maynard, you appear to have accidentally left a comment on SummerPhDv2.0's user page instead of her talk page. I have removed it and put it on her talk page. Regards, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 05:08, 26 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Contested deletion edit

This page should not be speedily deleted because I was told by other Wikipedia editors that an 'About Me' page is a way to include this info. --MaynardClark (talk) 22:55, 1 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

There is nothing in USERPAGE that says it is OK to use Wikipedia space for stuff not relevant to your work here in WP and it specifically says not to have article-like autobiographical content in your userspace. Wikipedia userspace is for your work here - not for personal notes; there was even a page about your IACUC work.... Jytdog (talk) 23:07, 1 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Contested deletion edit

This page should not be speedily deleted because it is now pretty concise, and the 'badges' are common fun things used in other Wikipedians' userpages. --MaynardClark (talk) 23:29, 1 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

It is still primarily like an article, and autobiographical. It has nothing to do with editing Wikipedia. Please do read WP:USERPAGE. Userpages are just for Wikipedia stuff, and nothing else. Jytdog (talk) 23:35, 1 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
What are all those badges on everyone else's userpages? Is only one Wikimedian doing this analysis? MaynardClark (talk) 03:12, 2 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
Its fine now. Badges are fine! Jytdog (talk) 03:31, 2 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
