Your thread has been archived edit

Hi MaxandRubyPeppaBlueyCuriousGeorgeFan2.0! The thread you created at the Wikipedia:Teahouse, How to make a page, has been archived because there was no discussion for a few days (usually at least two days, and sometimes four or more). You can still find the archived discussion here. If you have any additional questions that weren't answered then, please feel free to create a new thread.

The archival was done by Lowercase sigmabot III, and this notification was delivered by Muninnbot, both automated accounts. You can opt out of future notifications by placing {{bots|deny=Muninnbot}} here on your user talk page. Muninnbot (talk) 19:04, 22 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

June 2020 edit

Hello, I'm JesseRafe. An edit that you recently made to Yo seemed to be a test and has been removed. If you want to practice editing, please use the sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! JesseRafe (talk) 13:04, 25 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Sorry for inconvenience of testing. I was wondering when reading this why can’t we make test edits? MaxandRubyPeppaBlueyCuriousGeorgeFan2.0 (talk) 14:33, 28 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at DressBarn. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. 11Fox11 (talk) 21:08, 28 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Image without license edit

Unspecified source/license for File:Dettol Logo.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Dettol Logo.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|cc-by-sa-4.0}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: Once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 13:46, 3 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

CeraVe moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, CeraVe, does not have any sources or citations as written to remain published. It needs citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:CeraVe edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:CeraVe, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Please don't revert edits that aren't vandalism as vandalism edit

Thank you for trying to keep Wikipedia free of vandalism. However, one or more edits you labeled as vandalism are not considered vandalism under Wikipedia policy. Wikipedia has a stricter definition of the word "vandalism" than common usage, and mislabeling edits as vandalism can discourage editors. Please see what is not vandalism for more information on what is and is not considered vandalism. Thank you. Ed talk! 14:31, 26 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Ok. Did by accident.MaxandRubyPeppaBlueyCuriousGeorgeFan2.0 (talk) 14:32, 26 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

@MaxandRubyPeppaBlueyCuriousGeorgeFan2.0, sure, but please be more careful. Misusing counter-vandalism tools such as Twinkle can result in you being blocked from editing. Ed talk! 14:34, 26 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. MaxandRubyPeppaBlueyCuriousGeorgeFan2.0 (talk) 14:38, 26 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hey, I'm really not trying to pile on here, but I noticed you labeled a couple of reverts of Alvin223's edits as "vandalism", and I don't believe they rose to that level. Granted, he removed a maintenance template (twice) without fixing the problems (or explaining himself), but this isn't , per se vandalism. At most, it's disruptive editing. I recommend you read WP:BITE to help you get a better feel for it. BUT that doesn't change the fact that we're grateful for your help. Thanks! — UncleBubba T @ C ) 17:03, 27 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for telling me. I gave him warnings, mostly levels 3 and 4. The edits he made are purely disruptive and he may lose editing privileges. MaxandRubyPeppaBlueyCuriousGeorgeFan2.0 (talk) 17:13, 27 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Please be both careful and gentle in handling people with new-looking accounts. The recommended place to start is with a Level-1 notice, then proceed to Level-2, etc. Starting off a L-3 or L-4 is an unusual step and should be done only when the situation merits it. Cheers! — UncleBubba T @ C ) 17:21, 27 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Ok. MaxandRubyPeppaBlueyCuriousGeorgeFan2.0 (talk) 17:22, 27 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

September 2020 edit

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

Sock by accident edit

I’m not a sock. I’ve never started that account before. Please discuss this in Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents. MaxandRubyPeppaBlueyCuriousGeorgeFan2.0 (talk) 17:03, 3 September 2020 (UTC) Bradv, not a sock of Arthurfan828. MaxandRubyPeppaBlueyCuriousGeorgeFan2.0 (talk) 17:05, 3 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

See the investigation. Neither me, Netflix Hulu and Vudu, or DiscoveryKidsFan are socks. MaxandRubyPeppaBlueyCuriousGeorgeFan2.0 (talk) 17:09, 3 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Unable to edit. I'm scared as that is an indef block. I’m serious, please unblock. MaxandRubyPeppaBlueyCuriousGeorgeFan2.0 (talk) 17:12, 3 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I'm not a sockpuppet of Arthurfan. Plus, I don’t who he is.

Decline reason:

Checkuser verified abuser of multiple accounts. Entirely unambiguous. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆 𝄐𝄇 18:10, 3 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Didn’t know was a sockpuppet. Was this true? MaxandRubyPeppaBlueyCuriousGeorgeFan2.0 (talk) 19:35, 3 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Jpgordon, I don’t think I was abused by that user, he hasn’t been active for a while. MaxandRubyPeppaBlueyCuriousGeorgeFan2.0 (talk) 19:40, 3 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

MaxandRubyPeppaBlueyCuriousGeorgeFan2.0, if a CU confirmed it, there's nothing more you can do but take Ed's advice and try Standard Offer. --PRAHLADbalaji (M•T•AC) This message was left at 23:38, 5 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Prahlad balaji, ok. MaxandRubyPeppaBlueyCuriousGeorgeFan2.0 (talk) 01:36, 6 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

I may find the blocking policy useful as well. MaxandRubyPeppaBlueyCuriousGeorgeFan2.0 (talk) 01:45, 6 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Also, you will need to appeal on Arthurfan828, though you may need to email the stewards if it's globally locked. PRAHLADbalaji (M•T•AC) This message was left at 02:10, 6 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Dettol Logo.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Dettol Logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:13, 3 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
