Problems with upload of File:Aleksei Mikhalivoch Systevich.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Aleksei Mikhalivoch Systevich.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

Your question edit

Copied from Wikipedia:Media copyright questions

I have a question for ImageBot. I have the artist's name for the Aleksei Mikhalivoch Systevich.jpg file but I couldn't put the artist's name under the caption and it was a disaster ,can you please help me ASAP? That image was very important because it revealed the man who had decided to retire from being a bad guy, despite for only a short time. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MaxTraxx 82 (talkcontribs) 00:19, 26 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

End copied post

File:Aleksei Mikhalivoch Systevich.jpg does not exist. Are you sure you uploaded that image? Goodvac (talk) 00:41, 26 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
The file was deleted because it lacked copyright information, a necessary requirement for all images. Until you have a properly licenced image you cannot add it to any articles. Hope that helps. ww2censor (talk) 02:05, 26 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Seven Shadows edit

The article Seven Shadows has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Completely unnotable fictional characters.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Speedy deletion nomination of Daytonhotfun.jpg edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Daytonhotfun.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you.   ■ MMXX  talk  00:03, 3 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Non-free rationale for File:Daytonhotfun.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Daytonhotfun.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.   ■ MMXX  talk  00:10, 3 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Hotfun1982a.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Hotfun1982a.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.   ■ MMXX  talk  00:13, 3 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of The Girls (girl group) edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on The Girls (girl group) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
