Welcome! edit

Hello, Mauryabhi7715, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits did not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may have been removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations verified in reliable, reputable print or online sources or in other reliable media. Always provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to The Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. December 2020 edit

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Ullu App, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Cabayi (talk) 09:09, 16 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at MX Player, you may be blocked from editing. Cabayi (talk) 09:11, 16 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Please stop inserting your opinion without any reliable, verifiable, independent sources. This won't end prettily if you persist. Cabayi (talk) 09:12, 16 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Unsourced material Really? Please up to date your mind.

It's correct news sir.. I'm an Indian media person. Mauryabhi7715 (talk) 09:37, 16 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

That just makes your unsourced edits even less excusable. Wikipedia doesn't care who you are, just about the verifiability of what you write. Cabayi (talk) 09:42, 16 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

All Sources are available which I contribute , if you want know then find it. Mauryabhi7715 (talk) 09:53, 16 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

www.india.com/entertainment/ Anushka Sharma produced web series Patal Lok controversy. Is it not a reliable source? If this is not then what sources you needed. India.com a top website in India. Its a reliable source and I will go with ahead.

Mauryabhi7715 (talk) 12:23, 18 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
No, India.com is a gossip/entertainment site. The additional Economic Times citation you added doesn't support the text. There is also a controversy section at the bottom which adequately summarises its controversies. Please avoid edit warring over it. Tayi Arajakate Talk 12:40, 18 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing →   Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Cabayi (talk) 12:33, 20 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Sourced content edit

How can I show that , our content is certified by sources. I mean , how do any senior Wikipedians judge that..which I edits or contribute in Wikipedia is unsourced material . Mauryabhi7715 (talk) 08:46, 17 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Six of the seven Seven of the eight messages previously left for you have contained links to guidance on what sources are needed and how to cite them. Read the messages, follow the links, read the guidance, follow the guidance. Cabayi (talk) 09:40, 17 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Ullu App edit

The source you cite for "Every Indian web-series including Ullu Web series you watch, you will just find two things: Sex and Hinduphobia" actually says "Ramesh Solanki, a member of Shiv Sena IT Cell, has filed a police complaint against Netflix alleging that the US-based online streaming service is “defaming Hindus and India” through shows hosted on its platform." and "Almost every series on Netflix India...".

  • Ullu App is NOT Netflix India
  • "Almost every" is NOT "Every" and
  • an allegation filed with the police by a political activist is NOT a fact.

Please, take more care that what you write as fact IS an objective verifiable fact, not a wishful confection which aligns with your personal beliefs. A neutral point of view is one of the five pillars of Wikipedia, not an optional afterthought. Cabayi (talk) 14:09, 31 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

January 2021 edit

Hello Mauryabhi7715! Your additions to Tandav (TV series) have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. All other images must be made available under a free and open license that allows commercial and derivative reuse to be used on Wikipedia.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps in Wikipedia:Translation#How to translate. See also Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. ~RAM (talk) 10:18, 17 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

transferred from User talk:Cabayi#ACCOUNT HAS BEEN BLOCKED
Truth and verifiability are not the same thing. What you call truth seems to be just your opinion.

" In 2020 media reported that the Ullu featured adult and explicit content during the covid to gain more subscribers. But Showing only Adult content is wrong , Not for Only Ott Freedom Misused but this taking a wrong way of our Indian young youth."

You've been venting your opinion about Ullu for 8 months. You've been repeatedly cautioned about it. You've been blocked for it. Yet 8 months on, you're still being disruptive to the article in the same way. Nothing has changed.

"Ullu is Mostly Known For Making Adult and Vulgar Content."

Putting you in the position where you need to discuss changes to the article on its talk page, and having someone else implement them for you seems the least restrictive means of preventing further disruption to the article.
You may of course file an appeal here, as described in the block notice, for another admin to consider. Cabayi (talk) 08:07, 21 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia has 6,827,383 other articles, yet in the 148 weeks since I blocked you from editing Ullu you've shown no interest in editing any of them. Your only edits have been to request an unblock from that one article. You're creating a situation in which the longer you go without making any other positive contributions to the encyclopedia, the more you will appear to be focussed on attacking Ullu, & the longer the block needs to remain in force.
I'm not stating any conditions, just trying to show you how your behaviour appears to others. Cabayi (talk) 12:05, 12 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Ok I will focus on other pages, and wait for this block lifted. Thanks Mauryabhi7715 (talk) 22:04, 17 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
