Hi Mauger, just wanted to apologize if I offended you by anything I said at talk:UPCI I wasn't trying to offend anyone and I wasn't attempting to criticize anyone's beliefs, I have a bad history with the organization and I should not have used that page to vent my own personal feelings. Welcome!

Hi, Mauger, Welcome to Wikipedia!

I hope you like Wikipedia — I sure do — and want to stay. Before getting too in-depth, you may want to read about the simplified ruleset. If you need help on how to title new articles check out the naming conventions, and for help on formatting the pages visit the manual of style. If you need help look at Wikipedia:Help and the FAQ , plus if you can't find your answer there, check the Village Pump (for Wikipedia related questions) or the Reference Desk (for general questions)! And if you have any more questions after that, feel free to post them on User talk:Tvae There's still more help at the Tutorial and Policy Library. Plus, don't forget to visit the Community Portal or leave me a message on my user talk page.

Additional tips

edit

Here's some extra tips to help you get around in the 'pedia!

  • If you want to play around with your new Wiki skills the Sandbox is for you.
  • You can sign your name using three tildes (~). If you use four, you can add a datestamp too.
  • Don't sign Encyclopedia entry pages, but do fill in the Edit summary block.
  • If you ever think a page or image should be deleted, please list it at the votes for deletion page. There is also a votes for undeletion page if you want to retrieve something that you think should not have been deleted.
  • If you're still entirely confused, or would like to get a better grasp of your wikipedia skills, and you have an IRC client (or don't mind getting one), check out the Bootcamp. It's not what it sounds like, but it is fun and can help you with your editing skills.
  • Be Bold
  • If you are ever in need of help, be sure to leave a message on my talk page, or put {{helpme}} on your user page.
  • If you're bored and want to find something to do, try the Random page button in the sidebar, or check out the Open Task message in the Community Portal.

Happy Wiki-ing.

Please do not blank your talk page, if you have any more questions, please feel free to contact me =). Tvaughn05e (Talk)(Contribs) 23:20, 8 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for Image:Av-101642.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Av-101642.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 14:06, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
