Don't submit multiple versions of the same article

Please stop submitting new copies of your article. Stick to having one copy, and make all your upgrades and refinements on that one. If it gets rejected, make your improvements there on that very same page, and then hit the "re-submit" option on the template when ready. Creating brand-new redundant submissions clogs up the system and slows rather than speeds up your approval process (plus annoys the reviewers, which does not dispose them to being supportive!). Your article will publish just fine if you take into account the comments left and the advice from the Teahouse, and apply those fixes. MatthewVanitas (talk) 19:31, 25 October 2012 (UTC)

Waterbeach FC

Matty, another editor has proposed the article for deletion, that gives us 7 days to prove it's a notable club. We can't rely on the fact that articles about other clubs in the same league exist so there needs to be something else. The obvious one is the FA Cup - has the club ever played in the FA Cup even if it was only reaching the first qualifying round? If so when? how far did they get and is this recorded in a book anywhere? NtheP (talk) 21:49, 27 October 2012 (UTC)

Matty, there is no procedural way round notability. Please supply info eg FA Cup so that we can construct an argument to keep the article. NtheP (talk) 17:56, 7 November 2012 (UTC)
