Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. Is this comment referring to your effort to include the official French name in the info box of Louisiana? One possible next step that you can take is to solicit additional feedback via the Wikipedia:Requests for Comment process. This is a way to get other editors to look at your proposal and offer their opinions. However, the only thing that you can do is to offer an argument for your proposal and try to convince other editors, using wikipedia's policies to support your arguments. Sometimes the community will go in a different direction. In those cases, I'd recommend looking for another article to improve: remember that we have 3.8 million! Since we run things by consensus, nobody gets everything that they want. I'd also suggest that you look at Wikipedia:Assume good faith. Other editors may disagree with you, but that doesn't mean that they are prejudiced against your opinions.
