Biography infobox

edit

I have no idea what "descretionary sanctions" you're referring to in your recent edit summaries, but you are restoring wikidata templates that add infoboxes to articles that contain material that is not supported by reliably sourced article content as is required per Template:Infobox person (in relation to WP:V and WP:RS). When such edits are challenged, the onus is on the person restoring the content (i.e. you) to source it and/or show consensus for it.-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 19:53, 20 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

here you go Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Civility in infobox discussions. ignorance is no excuse. onus is on the person, deleting reliable sourced information, degrading article quality. --Matsmetal (talk) 19:58, 20 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
The content isn't reliably sourced, that's the problem. I've raised the issue at WP:AN (link) for wider input.-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 20:15, 20 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding this template to articles while the issue is being discussed on the Administrators' noticeboard. DrKay (talk) 20:17, 20 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

July 2022

edit

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Donald S. Farner. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. It is disruptive to continue with a series of edits after being asked to stop and when the issue is under discussion at the Administrators' noticeboard. DrKay (talk) 20:20, 20 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

  Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Laura Fermi, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not continue with a series of edits when the issue is under discussion and opposition is unresolved. DrKay (talk) 20:22, 20 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Karl Geiringer. Your refusal to engage or stop despite multiple warnings is troubling. Please stop. DrKay (talk) 20:25, 20 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

I have blocked you temporarily from article space because of your refusal to listen to concerns or engage in discussion or comment at the associated administrators' noticeboard discussion. If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message

edit

Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:44, 29 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Blocked as a sockpuppet

edit
Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively as a sockpuppet of User:Slowking4 per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Slowking4. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
