de Moivre's Formula edit

Euler's formula is valid for all reals and complex numbers but de Moivre's is not please see the section in the article about this. Dmcq (talk) 22:01, 6 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Could yopu please stop putting in about de Moivre's formula being true for a real exponent. Dmcq (talk) 14:47, 7 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
Please see the section "Failure for non-integer powers". Dmcq (talk) 18:03, 7 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
Hi! It's nice that you are interested in de Moivre's formula, but your submitted proof is incorrect for the reason explained by Dmcq. Best regards Ulner (talk) 19:22, 2 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
See also my critical remark (on the talk page there) to your "proof". Boris Tsirelson (talk) 19:39, 2 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits edit

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 09:19, 3 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
