Most people use the term "personality" to identify the most obvious characteristic of a person or to refer to that person's social skills. Psychologists are mainly interested in personality to explain why people with similar heredity, experience, and motivation may react differently in the same situation stated by Duane P. Schultz in her Theories of Personality, nine edition. The main objective of adding this information is to suggest more of an understanding of personality psychology using that reference for those who wanted to understand more from a different author.
