My Current Editings edit

Sorry about that, i just had a friend borrow my computer for the night and he sent me pictures, sorry about that.

what a mess... edit

I'd be happy to help add more material. I've never been to the "cirque" page & I have 3 kids. seeing how I just noticed this page of people critiquing grammar, misspelling and speaking in the first person, I'm truly sorry if my lack of effort caused such chaos. I tried to add as much material as I could. It was a bummer to see a list of accomplishments and whatnot erased. One day I'll be erased, and I'd enjoy it if people really knew who I was.

Help... suggestions?

Hello Robertkelly34, Wikipedia needs a lot of clean up from volunteers like you and I am glad you would like to help by adding more material. I have left some links on your talk page to help with your navigation on this encyclopedia perhaps when you familiarize yourself with our policies you can get your edits/contributions to stay. I would suggest that you join a wikiproject an any topic that interest you to improve articles on that subject. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any help. kind regards —Sadat (Masssly)TalkCEmail 15:14, 5 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Disruptive edits edit

This is your first warning, if you continue with your agenda based edits, removal of sources and disruptive edits you will be reported to be blocked.   Please stop your disruptive editing. Your edits have been reverted or removed.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thesunshinesate (talkcontribs) 13:39, 8 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Maybe you think this is a game but I and others have spent months developing the article. Maybe you don't know how Wikipedia works, if a linked source to a webpage is no longer active you simply add a [citation needed] tag you don't remove content and blank sections because of it, I am not going it give you another warning or edit war with you, next I will simply request an investigation of your edits and have you blocked.

I see you have removed "the Akan language is the most important indigenous language in Ghana", that is a good start. I doubt if you really understand what it means to request an investigation, anyway remember to sign when you edit a talk page and stop slapping user talk pages with incoherent templates. Regards... —Sadat (Masssly)TalkCEmail 17:07, 8 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

You clearly just want to distort fact and hide Akan influence of the page. I give up I wont edit war with you. I have reported you to ANI

Sandbox Help edit

I have created an article in my sandbox and would like to find an editor who would be willing to review it to see if it has been developed properly and is notable. ThankyouThomricci (talk) 18:37, 10 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

At a quick glance I noticed all your references are in German. Although citations to non-English sources are allowed on the English-language Wikipedia whenever English sources of equal quality and relevance are available they are usually preferred so please work on that. I think you are doing well and I'll have a better look at your sandbox tomorrow evening when I can get the time. I'll continue this discussion on your talk page. Kind Regards...—Sadat (Masssly)TalkCEmail 22:46, 10 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Padme Amidala edit

Hi Masssly, First of all, sorry for my english, it is not as good as I would like it to be. My edition on Padme Amidala page was not an experiment, I was correcting a very common error. In the image I edited, it was said that the actress in the picture was Natalie Portman, when she is actually Keira Knightley. Turns that Portman performs Amidala role, but all over the film the queen we think is Amidala is just her handmaiden Sabé, who pretends to be Padme in order to protect her. Sabé role is performed by Keira Knightley, and she is the one in the picture. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.76.171.2 (talk) 14:58, 16 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Sunni Islam edit

Dear fellow, thanks for your valuable edits on wikipedia. While reading your user page, I found that you are a Ghanian Sunni Muslim. Therefore, I found it useful to discuss some problems with you. It is a widely known fact that the vast majority of Muslims in west Africa belong to Sunni denomination. But recent report by pew research centre seems to contradict it by giving high percentages of other sects especially Ahmadis. For example in Ghana ahmadis are 16% according to pew. Is this true? Can you please tell me how much wide spread ahmadiyya movement and other non-Sunni sects are, in Ghana? Although I have no particular affection for Sunni Islam and I treat all sects alike on wikipedia, the high percentage of non-Sunni sects in west Africa makes me alarmed because it is making Muslim world more 'sectarianfied'.Septate (talk) 14:18, 18 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello Septate, Ghana Statistical Service (the agency responsible for conducting populations census)does not collect collect data on Muslim denominations, they simply count us all as one. As such it is extremely difficult to place numbers on these measures and its the same situation not just in Ghana but West Africa at large. On my personal opinion, the statistics given by PEW most likely does not reflect the true picture especially in Ghana (where I live) concerning the high population of Ahmadis. Ahmadis do exist in Ghana for sure but their presence is hardly observed, and I do not see their community growing in any part of the country. I must be honest that 16% is definitely a misleading figure.—Sadat (Masssly)TalkCEmail 13:32, 19 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
But these estimates by pew are killing me. Look at Islam by country related articles on west African countries and you will understand my reason. Please start a discussion about the validity of pew research estimates. These estimates mostly come from samples collected from urban areas. Since most ahmadis are present in urban areas they may be over represented. Thanks a lot.Septate (talk) 06:52, 21 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
Will look into it some more. Regards—Sadat (Masssly)TalkCEmail 08:26, 26 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Ghana edit

Please stop your disruptive editing. Your edits have been reverted or removed.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. Thesunshinesate (talk) 19:26, 22 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

This warning is in regard to the other previous warning you received within the last few weeks in connection to the Ghana page. SInce you don't want to stop and you said to go ahead and report. I am going to see admin intervention .

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Ghana. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. -- Lord Roem ~ (talk) 20:39, 22 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Please check the talk page, there's an open discussion the parties involved have openly refused to discuss.—Sadat (Masssly)TalkCEmail 20:59, 22 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring, as you did at Ghana. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.  Lord Roem ~ (talk) 21:00, 22 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Unblocked edit

With the permission of Lord Roem, I've unblocked you. You were edit warring, but I don't think that is the best solution. I've full protected the article for now.

Let me be clear, this isn't a pass or a finding of "innocent", it is a second chance. With the article protected, I think you can do more good unblocked than blocked. Once protection expires, if you go back to multiple reverts in a day, I will likely block you myself, and longer than 24 hours. You have been using the talk page, which is good, keep working with that. I strongly suggest not reverting more than once a day. Dennis Brown |  | WER 22:44, 22 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Illyria edit

Regarding your comment on my page - you must be kidding. Did you even see what it looks like? (hint - it looks like this). I wasn't vandalizing, I was fixing it. But since you are such a gentleman, you can go fix it yourself. Tinelva (talk) 14:57, 26 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
