Welcome to wikipedia

Welcome to Wikipedia! Unfortunately I just renamed your article Chameleon (fluorescent protein) because I had a spelling mistake in the title. Don't be discouraged. If you want to references from Pubmed you can use Diberri's tool http://diberri.dyndns.org/cgi-bin/templatefiller/index.cgi?type=&id= which makes life a lot easier. If you need any help with editing, drop me a note on my talk page. Panoramix303 (talk) 09:21, 26 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Chameleon or Cameleon

edit

Just saw that wikipedia already has an article on Cameleon which is almost identical to your article about Chameleon_(fluorescent_protein). Perhaps we can merge and expand the two articles. Panoramix303 (talk) 19:28, 27 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

You are right. I overlooked that one. Articles should be then merged or my article should be deleted. Mashin6 (talk) 22:47, 27 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
The best thing in my opinion if you would add your content to Cameleon and put a redirect on both of the pages you created. Panoramix303 (talk) 05:46, 28 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
done, everything is now in Cameleon. Panoramix303 (talk) 23:31, 1 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, I've been a bit busy in the last days. You did great job. Mashin6 (talk) 20:50, 8 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Gene expression

edit

I've noticed your work on this (in my eyes) very important article and would like to assist in any way possible.--Macarenses (talk) 07:06, 8 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Indeed, Gene expression article should be some kind of crossroad to all articles from gene expression series, but still hasn't reached GA or FA status. In my opinion it should contain more detailed information than gene and introduction to genetics but still less then specialized articles (e.g. Transcription (genetics), Translation (genetics), Regulation of gene expression,... - with minor problem that some of these contain very little text yet so we'll have to figure out ourselves). I started with a little clean up according to the review and I'm planning to expand expand the sections a little bit. If you would like to join just pick any section and start expanding. Don't forget to cite (also older text) as this was one of the main review objections. --Mashin6 (talk) 23:43, 8 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thanks

Hi Mashin6,

This is an outrageously late response, but thanks and kudos for fixing File:Antigen presentation.svg. I've restored your fixed version of the image to the six articles that originally contained the faulty version.

I see you haven't edited much this year, so I hope you're well and that you still have enthusiasm for contributing. People with expertise in molecular biology are much-needed and in short supply, so you're a real asset to the project. Please let me know if you need anything.
