Signed Units of Defcon edit
In view of the release of Uplink on Steam (Valve), they started a new beta. Sorry for not telling, but that is the clue. It was just out of pure luck that one of the 25 valid entries won. A valid entry consists of a code released at the end of the game in the new beta (1.39-1.42) and a savegame to go with it.
Well, see for yourself. Was thinking that just for historical reasons, the three signed units of Defcon should be mentioned. :) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 159.81.128.2 (talk • contribs)
Spoilers edit
Using the spoiler template is disputed (and other leading members of the Star Wars Project share my opinion that they are pointless). If you insist on littering the articles with them, make sure you use the correct template. Sarlacc now has two end spoiler templates in one section. Dmoon1 15:37, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
Sculpt4D edit
Sculpt 4D was available for Amiga Computers, they ported it later to the Macintosh. I had a Amiga copy of it, must be around 1988-89. It is true that future version where only available for the Mac, because Amiga was dead...
Semiprotection edit
I gave thought to it when I entirely justifiably semiprotected my page. Why don't you go and find something useful to do? Rebecca 22:56, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
- Because it is none of your business. Get off your high horse. Rebecca 23:00, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, I am. I had a perfectly justified reason to semiprotect my page, and I dislike being talked down to in such a manner for doing so. Rebecca 23:06, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
- No. Screw off. Rebecca 23:30, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
Bot, AWB-like program? edit
Hi Maru! Just curious to know what kind of bot/assist program you are using. I don't use them myself usually, but I like trying them out :). RN 23:16, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
- ? Which edits? I generally use Pywikipediabot for disambiguations and the like, but because of my Arbcom case I haven't done much lately. --maru (talk) contribs 23:18, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
- Oh - I just thought with the "«+" and "64 words changed"-like things in your edit summaries you were using some kind of automated helper thing... just curious :). No big deal, just interested in trying out new programs - Thanks :). RN 23:23, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
The edit summary thing is Quarl's JavaScript. That's not a bot though ... his comments are manual edits (unless artificial intelligence has really gotten that good). --Cyde Weys 23:25, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you very much Cyde - I shall check that out :). RN 23:28, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

Function representation article edit
Can you be so kind, please, to let me know the reason you deleted my article on Function representation which is a known geometric model. It a way for my students to study how to use Wikipedia for knowledge management and computer graphics courses. I also have question on my article on Lu Yu as tea ceremony teacher, which replaced previous article on Lu Yu - Chinese poet. There is one more famous Lu Yu... I tried to catch attention on this situation, but there is still oply one Lu Yu.... Is there any possibility to have several branches for the same entry?

- W/R/T "Function Representation". I didn't. I deleted the redirect from the upper case version to the actual article, which had been at "Function representation". I say "had been" because if you had checked the deletion log here you would have seen that Kcordina had deleted the original actual article as being an illegal copyvio.
- As for your Lu Yu question, what is supposed to happen is described at Wikipedia:Disambiguation. --maru (talk) contribs 16:43, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
Arbitrariness edit
Now that you mention it, it is pretty funny. I'll put it back. Nufy8 02:56, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
- I just realized that we've been at this for almost a whole year. Wow. Nufy8 03:00, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
.ratpoisonrc edit
I've noticed you blanked User:Marudubshinki/.ratpoisonrc, and figured I might drop you a word. First, I must thank you for uploading your .ratpoisonrc in the first place. I don't know if you realize this, but your page actually made it pretty high in the Google results page for ".ratpoisonrc". Being a new ratpoison user myself, I found your configuration file very useful. Second, I was wandering whether you would not consider adding your configuration file to Wikibooks' Using Ratpoison tutorial as an example. This may be useful for future ratpoison initiates. — Itai (talk) 17:45, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, I had no idea anyone was using it. I knew one fellow on the ratpoison mailing list had borrowed some elements, but I assumed that he was working off the copy on the ratpoison wiki. (which seems to be down...) I've been meaning to get back to work on the ratpoison Wikibook, so I guess I'll add it and hope someone will fix it up. --maru (talk) contribs 18:38, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
