Being Different

edit

Good edits!   NB: how about creating a User page? Greetings, Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 06:37, 29 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

I agree -- good edits on Being Different, helps tell the story of what the book is all about. Also, here are just a couple of things you may want to be aware of: 1) A "minor edit" is usually used for something like a typographical correction. I think quite a number of your edits that you labeled as "minor" had quite a bit more substance, and thus should probably not be called "minor" - over time, I'd encourage you to look around and see how others have used the "minor edit" designator. 2) There are two conflicting expectations with book articles: they should describe the book clearly (which many of your edits have helped to do!), and they should also, unless a case can be made that it is better to do otherwise, adhere to general formatting expectations for articles about books - see GUIDELINES HERE, perhaps (at present) especially including the section on "Synopsis / Overview / Themes", including the footnote. I do not want to discourage your very good work, I just to give you a "heads up" about the constraints that may at some point be cited or may be in the minds of others. Speedy deletion nomination of Indra's net: Defending Hinduism's Philosophical Unity

edit

Hello Marthanon,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Indra's net: Defending Hinduism's Philosophical Unity for deletion, because it seems to be inappropriate for a variety of reasons.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. JamKaftan (talk) 04:07, 19 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
