I have found that you are less likely to irritate people, and more likely to get the outcome you desire on Wikipedia, if you are less confrontational and accusative. You may be right, but rhetoric such as "To be honest I don't really care..." is not going to make editors see your point of view. You catch more bees with honey, and all that. Furthermore, you may wish to make sure that your spelling is correct before "suggest[ing] you guys read a book on English grammer..." (it's "grammar" not "grammer"; I'm assuming that the other mistakes in your comments were mere typographical errors). – Toon 15:13, 7 March 2010 (UTC)

Touche :) OK you got me on the typo. I've posted some more examples and discussion to back up the point. If I had my copy of Fowler's or Gowers to hand I'd quote the relevant reference from that. Marlarkey (talk) 21:19, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
