Enigma articles

edit

Hi Markonikov, I really wanted to thank you very much for helping creating the single albums. I had waited a long time for assistance from the people at the EMB, thanks again for helping! --Andylkl (talk) July 6, 2005 17:03 (UTC)

Hello again, I noticed your edits in the Le Roi article. According to WikiProject Music, it's supposed to be other way around. Thanks. --Andylkl (talk) July 6, 2005 17:18 (UTC)
ok, you're right. But how are we going to fix this? The article titles are incorrect right now :) Thanks for the comments.
No problems about that. I'll just move the articles that you created to the corrected ones. :) --Andylkl (talk) July 6, 2005 17:30 (UTC)

chemical infobox

edit

The article Chemical infobox (data page) did not look like a proper article for the (main) namespace so I have moved it to Wikipedia:Chemical infobox (data page). -- RHaworth 08:24, 9 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Image Tagging Image:Olive_photo1.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Olive_photo1.jpg. The image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the image qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of image pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. -- Carnildo 07:57, 10 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

WikiProject Enigma

edit

Hi again! Been quite a while since we've work on the Enigma articles, eh? :) Anyways, I'd like to let you know that I'm currently trying to get a WikiProject started for articles related to Enigma so that we could have a centralised area to work on the articles as a group.

But for now this is just a proposal to set up the WikiProject, as I'm the only person in it. If you're interested in helping out, do please check out my temporary WikiProject page: User:Andylkl/WikiProject Enigma and add your name there, as well as this page). Thanks for reading this! :) --Andylkl [ talk! | c ] 19:35, 1 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for Image:Lijstdedecker.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Lijstdedecker.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 14:07, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:B5 Corwin.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:B5 Corwin.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BritandBeyonce (talkcontribs) 09:43, 11 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Olive photo1.jpg)

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Olive photo1.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 10:43, 18 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Voyageur (song)

edit

The article Voyageur (song) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No references, no claim of notability, fails WP:GNG and WP:NSONGS.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
