This is the second time you've uploaded this image without indicating its source. Additionally, the map data within the image itself does not cite its source(s), though it is based, in part, on a public domain CIA map. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 03:14, 3 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Fomerly anonymous Swedish editor?

edit

Based on Marka boy's edits to various Somalia-related articles, specifically the edits to Hawiye and Darod, I suspect that Marka boy is the same person who has been making anonymous edits from various Swedish IP addresses (Chello.se etc.). Please see Category:Suspected Wikipedia sockpuppets of 80.217.152.161 and also the RfC for 80.217.152.161. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 01:26, 30 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing Wikipedia for repeated vandalism. If or when the block expires, feel free to come back, but please make useful contributions instead, and refrain from vandalizing or this account will face longer blocks, and action could be taken against the http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Marka_boy&action=edit&section=12individual who uses it. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 16:26, 7 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
Furthermore: Please do not upload "Image:Somaliethnic.jpg" again unless you attribute its source information. If you do not cite a source the image will be deleted (again). In any case, you should not attribute the image to the CIA, as you have done in various articles. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 16:45, 7 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Unreferenced BLPs

edit

Hello Marka boy! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 329 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
