December 2021 edit

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at List of people from Kingston upon Hull. Enough. It's not a minor edit, and it's not correct that such lists include non-notable people. Comment on the talk page if you like, where the thread has already been opened, or leave it alone. It does not matter how many accounts or IPs you use. Meters (talk) 03:30, 4 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Meters "A person is typically included in a list of people only if both of the following requirements are met". Key word typically. This means that non noteable people could, in theory, be added to a list of people.MarkRodge67 (talk) 03:38, 4 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Yes, and the full quote from Wikipedia:LISTPEOPLE that I put on your IP's page is Because the subject of many lists is broad, a person is typically included in a list of people only if both of the following requirements are met:
The person meets the Wikipedia notability requirement.
The person's membership in the list's group is established by reliable sources.
Neither of these conditions are met, let alone both of them. Meters (talk) 03:54, 4 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please talk on the other thread MarkRodge67 (talk) 04:01, 4 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

I already did, six minutes before you posted here. Perhaps you should actually look next time? Meters (talk) 04:04, 4 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

it was just a request! no need to be passive aggressive!MarkRodge67 (talk) 04:06, 4 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

I consider that a personal attack. Please remove it. You knew full well I had already replied to you on the article's talk page [1] because you had already read my reply and responded to it [2] before you posted here. Meters (talk) 04:11, 4 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
no i was requesting that we stop talking here. you can consider it a personal attack but it doesn't mean that it is!MarkRodge67 (talk) 04:15, 4 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello. Your recent edit to List of people from Kingston upon Hull appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. i think you are mistaken, i didn't add anyone to that list! MarkRodge67 (talk) 04:01, 4 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. Wikipedia aims to provide a safe environment for its collaborators, and harassing other users, as you did on Talk:List of people from Kingston upon Hull, potentially compromises that safe environment. If you continue to harass other editors, you may be blocked from editing. Repeating the same things and calling everyone else stupid is annoying and not good faith editing. Stop annoying everyone on this talkpage Joseph2302 (talk) 23:54, 4 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

What are you talking about? im trying to solve a problem and you lot are harrasing me - not the other way around. I haven't once attempted to add anyone to that list and i am trying to fix another problem and i didnt call anyone stupid MarkRodge67 (talk) 23:57, 4 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
are you going to give a constructive response other than copy and pasting boilerplate with incorrect accusations? all of them are repeating the same things and not responding with any constructive arguments to the points that i raised. Bringing up a different issue is not a constructive argument. MarkRodge67 (talk) 00:34, 5 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
