Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:EricLove

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:EricLove, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. bonadea contributions talk 07:29, 28 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Eric Love is a celebrity in Bedford Texas and he was involved in the Free Joe Exotic Movement, He funded a double-decker Bus and the trip to Washington Dc to submit a pardon for Joe Exotic to the President of the United States. Why am I being blocked for trying to share the information with the World? I was the Cameraman at a few of the stops. I do not know Eric Love Personally and I am not being paid by him to write this articel. If I have done something incorrectly please let me know what I have done. I do not understand why I was attacked by the first reviewer - If can you see the notes the reviewer went after me. I was just trying to provide good content. I researched every point, I added references for each element, date of birth, charity work, shows staring him, TMZ articles, NBC new articles, CBS news articles, Discovery Channel investigation reporter about him, I even added his charity where he donates millions to help the homeless and hungry. I added 16 to 17 direct references to creditable sources what else did I need? Please let me know what I did wrong and deserved a block? MarkJamesHayes (talk) 19:53, 28 October 2021 (UTC) Can you please unblock my account so that I can rewrite the article in another fation. To say I am advertising and promoting is not correct. My only intention is to share the information. Please unblock my page and I will rewrite the article again MarkJamesHayes (talk) 19:53, 28 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

You say you do not know Eric Love personally, but that you were a cameraman at his events. Wouldn't this require knowing him? You say your intention is to share information- this is considered promotional on Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not for merely sharing information. A Wikipedia article about Mr. Love must summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about him, showing how he meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable person. The sources about seeking a pardon for someone else might be relevant to an article about the person who wants to be pardoned, but not for an article on Mr. Love. Since you indicate you are only interested in editing about Mr. Love, I see no grounds to lift the block. 331dot (talk) 08:42, 29 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Update - Please remove my Block - I have other things to share - Why would you permanently block me for contributing to an article that is declined, Ok it is declined, fine I will not write about it, but why would block me from doing any other edit or creating other articles - Seems you are being punitive - I made an error so you "Big Brother" are going to show me how powerful you are by declining my article and permanently banning me from contributing. I think that is being vindictive and retaliatory - Please remove my blockMarkJamesHayes (talk) 02:10, 4 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 09:30, 4 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
