Thanks Mabdul! I am slowly figuring all of this out. This is my first Wiki page, and I have edited pages in the past. I was disappointed that my image was rejected, but I understood why and understood everything as was explained to me... how I have to upload it again in 7 days under "fair use" section. This IS confusing, but I'm slowly understanding it. MarkAllen5 (talk) 22:30, 5 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
(added indent...) Until now neither your FFU request nor your article draft isn't rejected. But it is very likely that your article draft will be declined - the article itself is not bad, but it isn't suitable in this format for Wikipedia. Keep in mind: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and thus we create articles explaining only the important things. You are explaining too much and going too much in detail. Another problem is for example ' taken from G/BAC's website in 1999' - that paragraph is simply too long to get cited. Try always to paraphrases it in your own words!
Please explain or rethink the section 'List of Members' - what takes the reader of an encyclopedia out of this section? Did you ever saw such a section in Encarta, Britannica or Brockhaus?
Moreover we try to include references always "inline" - please read WP:INCITE - and just another hint: read WP:CHEATSHEET. mabdul 10:47, 6 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Okay Mabdul! I am slowly learning this, and thanks for your help! Good points. I'm going to make some changes, etc. I'll get it right eventually! Thanks, MarkAllen5 (talk) 02:31, 7 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi Mabdul! I have re-edited my Wiki page that was rejected and am about ready to re-submit it (I followed all the recommendations carefully). I have a question about submitting an image though. There are so many image-submitting routes on Wiki (at least, it seems) that it is confusing to me. Simply: how do I upload the main, one image I want to go with my page? The image is from the original website of the art collective I am doing the page about, was taken by them (and I am in contact with their director, who took the photo). Can you point me in the right direction? Thank you! :) MarkAllen5 (talk) 14:58, 5 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hey Mabdul! My submission was rejected again! :( Anyway, I'd like to make it suitable for Wikipedia. I thought by adding all the citations that helped. Do you have any suggestions to make it better? Thank you! MarkAllen5 (talk) 02:53, 7 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
