hey. talk.

Family Outing edit

I like your talk page intro, by the way.  :)

Anyway, the reason for the tags is this: For a Wikipedia page, everything must be reliably sourced and notable. For example, the show is very notable for being a popular, heavily-watched show featuring various famous celebrities. And stuff like its ratings, notable guests, etc. can be sourced.

However, the "couplings" and the "characters" are quite trivial, but most of the page is focussed on that. Like, if this was a non-reality show, it would be considered an "in-universe" perpsective; in other words, too much emphasis is on the world inside the TV show. But because this is an encyclopedia, it has to be looked at from the outside. For example, Hyori and Yoo Jae-suk are considered the "country's couple" on the show because of each person's relatively high popularity. However, does this really matter in the real world? If so, how? And if you do show how, you have to source it.

I hope that makes sense. The trivia/misc. tags are related to each other, because some of it's trivia and some of it's just miscellaneous coupling listings. And of course, the page itself needs reliable sources.

I hope that makes sense. For more information, see Wikipedia's tutorial on a first article. Thanks for contributing! :D SKS (talk) 15:30, 4 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
