Please take care

edit

Please take care when editing. I noticed while you were editing Burj Khalifa to add an image, most of your edit also moved a large portion of the text to another location in the article. This had the undesirable effect of making a mess of the list of records and breaking the flow of the article. It is easy to do - I've done pretty much the same myself - but is easily spotted by using the 'preview' and 'show changes' buttons before saving your edit. I have now reverted it and added in the image properly - I also removed all mention of Hymenocallis because the reference actually casts doubt on that theory rather than supporting it. Thank you!

Astronaut- thanks for your help; we checked out your talk page and we feel honored that someone so active in Wikepidia is paying attention to our little contribution. Do you actually work there? Also we noticed that you created the Burj Khalifa article's graphic comparing statures of well-known buildings. My daughter's astonished that you're able to do that. She wants to ask you how did you create the graphic? -- "Team" Marinath (talk) 23:08, 3 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

You're welcome.
The Wikimedia Foundation has very few staff. The job of creating and editing over 4 million articles (on the English language Wikipedia alone) falls to many thousands of volunteers, some of whom are more active than others. I am just one such volunteer who has put in a few years of work here. At times when I was out of work, I could edit almost like a full time job, but now my job keeps me rather busy and I have had to cut down the time I spend here. Oh, and the reason for me paying attention to your edits is that I have the article watchlisted.
As for the diagram, that was created using some SVG editing software called Inkscape. It is pretty good at creating scaleable diagrams, but it is rather difficult to learn how to use. I originally created the rather similar File:BurjDubaiHeight.png, someone else turned that into the SVG version, and I simply updated and cleaned up that diagram using Inkscape.
Anyway, welcome again to Wikipedia and have fun reading about whatever interests you. Astronaut (talk) 11:00, 4 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
