Conflict of interest edit

Hello, thanks for joining Wikipedia! I notice that all your edits are on the topics of the LaManna Group and its CEO, and I wonder if you have some connection with them. This isn't necessarily a problem, but if you do you should file disclosure explaining any conflict of interest to ensure transparency. That's a link on how to do it and here's an example of what a disclosure looks like - but let me know if you have any kind of questions about this. Blythwood (talk) 22:35, 15 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest edit

  Hello, Maria Vampatella. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Anthony Di Pietro, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Ms. Vampatella, I want to be very clear to you. It seems obvious from your edits on here that your purpose in editing Wikipedia is to do public relations work on behalf of Anthony Di Pietro and his business interests. Your next edit to Wikipedia must be a formal disclosure of any conflicts of interest you have and companies paying you for your work, or some other response to this issue, or you are likely to be blocked from making further edits. Request reason:

Our company Robert Masters and Associates (RMA) work for LaMannaPremier Group as their communication advisers. RMA is a public relations firm and is a paid contributor by LaMannaPremier Group. RMA has no conflict of interest working for LaMannaPremier Group or its CEO, Anthony DiPietro. RMA only edits new information that comes to hand or any new photographs that require updating relating to LaMannaPremier Group and its CEO, Anthony DiPietro. RMA was unaware of any block because we do not go into the page unless we have to edit it. Now that we know we have to disclose any conflict of interest, which we do not have as already mentioned, we will know for any future work on behalf of other clients if they wish us to help them with WIKIPEDIA related work. In this instance, LaMannaPremier Group, its CEO, Anthony DiPietro and Robert Masters and Associates definitely has no conflict of interest. RMA would like to take this opportunity to apologise for any inconvenience caused because we are not specialized in updating WIKIPEDIA, but we are trying our best and learning as we go. Thank you for your patience.

Maria Vampatella (talk) 22:49, 26 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

So, you work for Anthony DiPietro's company, but you have no WP:Conflict of interest regarding him? That makes no sense at all. Working for someone is the very definition of the WP:Conflict of interest. Vanjagenije (talk) 14:19, 27 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
